<description>Dave, I honestly have no idea. There are way too many moving parts with the offline client. Will SQL Server Express even run on Windows 7? Best of luck,

<description>I believe we were selecting WITH offline access. Do you perhaps think that the spot where it stops has something to do with DNS resolution or something like that related to Offline Access? (“Modifying address resolution search path”)

Thanks!

		<description>Hi Dave,

I have not had this issue and half of our company is on Windows 7 x64 and Outlook 2007. Are you trying to install the client with offline access? We've only gotten the client without offline access to work.

Best of luck,
Phil</description>

		<description>Phil,

I have been reading your blog with interest. I am a newbie CRM admin at my company and I'm wondering if you have heard about any problems using the CRM Outlook Plugin with Windows 7 and Outlook 2007. The client installs fine bit when you go to do the Configuration, it locks up and stops progressing when it says "Modifying address resolution search path". I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Client and get this same roadblock each time. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

		<description>Hello Rebecca,

Yes, us CRM folks are few and far between in the states, and I hear Denver is no exception. I'm not sure why this is, but it could be because the business and technology aspects of CRM are so tightly coupled that you need folks who are good at both to succeed. The company I work for, Altriva Solutions, hired me as a .NET generalist and then invested heavily into my training. So while I can’t recommend good ways to find experienced CRM professionals, I can speak from experience that “growing your own” can work very well.

Best of luck!
